SELF-EDUCATION TOPICS
WEEK 1:
- 2D Digital Mammography and Screening
- Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT) and Contrast Enhanced Mammography (CEM)
WEEK 2:
- Hand-held breast ultrasound, elastosonography and Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS)
- Breast interventional radiology
WEEK 3:
- How to do a breast MRI: protocols, artifacts and BIRADS classification
- Indications and MRI-guided biopsy
- Breast MRI biomarkers and Artificial Intelligence applications
SELF-EDUCATION MATERIAL/WEEK
DICOM cases + PPT presentation for each topic + PDF or open access papers (at least 2 for each topic)
Week 1: Digital Mammography and Screening, DBT, CEM
Week 2: Hand-held breast ultrasound, elastosonography, Automated Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) and breast interventional radiology
Week 3: How to do a breast MRI, indications and MRI-guided biopsy, breast MRI biomarkers and Artificial Intelligence applications
3 LIVE ZOOM WEBINARS (3 HOURS EACH) at the end of each week
Final PPT presentation with take home messages, cases discussion, open questions
Na 6 dni przed workshop’em uczestnicy otrzymają dostęp do bazy przypadków wg poniżej przedstawionego schematu.
Dni 1-6
W ciągu tygodnia, na platformie Google Classroom, publikowane będą materiały szkoleniowe oraz pytania do przypadków (badań radiologicznych) co pomoże zbudować wiedzę przed workshop’em online w dniu 7.
Strategia bardzo prosta: minimum czasu maksimum treści.
Dzień 7
Workshop online (wg programu) z aktywną analizą przypadków.
Kurs online odbędzie się na platformie ZOOM z wykorzystaniem specjalnie przygotowanych badań umieszczonych na serwerze Postdicom.
prof. Federica Pediconi
Professor Federica Pediconi was born in Rome, Italy, in 1974. She did her medical and residency school at “Sapienza” University of Rome, where she is currently Associate Professor of Radiology and where she spent her professional career.
She has been working in the Breast Unit of the Department of Radiological Sciences, University of Rome “La Sapienza”, as Assistant Professor since 2004, and leads an enthusiastic and productive team of academic breast imagers.
Since March 2011 she is the chairperson of the of Educational Committee of the EUSOBI (European Society of Breast Imaging) and in the educational committee of the ESR (European Society of Radiology) where she served also for scientific sub-committee of breast for more than 3 years. Since 2012 she is also in the executive board of SIRM (Italian Society of Radiology) breast Section.
She has been coordinator or co-organizer of more than 60 congresses and invited speaker of more than 80 National and International events. She presented more than 200 abstracts at National and International congresses and published about 64 papers and books. Her clinical activities are mainly focused on breast imaging, comprised interventional, and MRI.
